I think I like that. Not sure if the little car in the middle means my favourite feature of the current dash would go though - the picture of a Focus that appears when adaptive cruise is on that turns into a picture of a Mustang in Sport mode!

The Ford website isn’t really clear on if software updates are available now - it just says the vehicle has automatic updates. I can’t believe there have been hardware changes for what’s effectively a run out model, though the large screen is in the facelifted Kuga too.

Yeah those are pics from my car. It does still have rev matching, in sport and track mode.

I haven’t tried that yet so not sure. There is two different designs you can pick from. Modern dials and classic. The picture shows the classic style

Correct. We know wondering wether the updates will be coming to the rest of the lineup (or at last to the newly built "standard" MK4.5 STs) or is this someting that is gonna be unique to the MK4.5 ST Edition.

Opposite for me, think it looks plain, probably the Transit look that gets me. I think the MK4 version looks great and keep getting tempted to get one. But massive celebrations, at last they’ve put numbers on the speedo and it looks 1 billion trillion times better, just need bezels on them now and perfect 👌

it does look plain in those pics but i assume theres more to it? thats why i asked to see some proper pics,in those ones the first one is blue but the rest are all the same colour so i presume there must be some more options ?

I think the color would changes based on the driver mode selected, like the previous screen.

been out in mine today and i must admit i do prefer my gauges,the fuel and temp that sweep down each side plus the speedo is on the left which i deffo prefer,also the speed sign is in the middle of the screen where its nice and noticeable and not stuck down the bottom ,so unless the new one is configurable ill be staying as is ,the only thing that bugs me with mine is that it only shows what gear your in when in sport mode,that would have been real handy to have in normal mode too
