For me the automatic was appealing too because of the daily usability, but I knew that the manual is much much more fun. So it was all about daily comfort vs fun, you can guess what her choice was. So my deal breaker move was to show her the noise of the manual vs the automatic. She instantly agreed that the manual will be a special car. So I really hope that Ford does not modify anything noisewise, or I will be told off every single day that we could have ordered the automatic version :D

Just let her drive it often, she will quickly agree how much more engaging it is :) Also the Focus ST is excellent in this front, the manual greabox is precise and smooth and the clutch is not that heavy at all, especially compared to hothatches of old. Also, given the torgue reserves of the car, I reckon you would be less compelled to downshift if you wanna get some speed in the city.

I have never paid anywhere near that ever. My RS was on 3.9% in 2017, the BMW135i was only 2.9% in 2021 and my current ST is on a 0% 2 year pcp.

I’ve just seen these up to date interest rates on the ST Focus - I’m surprised they are selling many, non ST variants are in the 3 percent range, I don’t get why the ST is over double that.?

nice find, i think the colour suits the mk4.5 far more than it did the mk4 ,the front end black parts look real good with it (y) wonder when ill actually see one on the road? then ill be thinking is that an rs approaching or the mk4 version? :ROFLMAO:

A few of the MK4 editions knocking around Chester have RS spoilers, they're always catching me out 😂

I've not seen the order confirmation yet either as ford closed the books on new orders while they sorted a production schedule. Think it's open now but my dealer contact is on holiday this week.

I've been told it'll be September, which to be honest is fine with me..... until I see others on the road and I want one!!!

Please do send a gallery of pics. 😘

i was just browsing the trader and saw one on there,the dealer had put it in with the rs models,it confused me for a minute :LOL: looks like it has driver assist pack but thats all,i was going to put a link up but cant find it again now :unsure:

It looks amazing. I'm expecting order confirmation and expected build next week. Few dealers got back to me after all my enquiries, none have any available or can order. So I struck lucky getting what I did I think.

Curious to see what My insurance will be, everything has gone up.
