While fundamentally I don't disagree with you, that the mk4 brakes are not a weakness at all, I'd just point out that fade can indeed be a bit of an issue depending on car spec (we... obvious haha)

My estate is running M330 and its used as a family car, which means always heavy with stuff inside (toddler car seat, roof bars, a million things extra that you need when you drive long distance) + the weight of the car itself being slightly higher... Fade is indeed present after a couple of spirited miles or couple of stronger pedal pushes.

It can be a combination of car heaviness with high exterior temperatures (often driving in warm countries), oil, I don't know. But I'm upgrading the setup to something slightly more robust to fade very soon. I totally get that on a standard mk4 st this isn't an issue and yes, I find that the standard system is miles better than before! (y)

I found these SNs to order from Ford, can anyone confirm if they are correct?
Can't find SN of the brake lines and spacers, some help ? Spacers be provided by ford or only home made?

left caliper LJ9C-2011-FEC
right caliper LJ9C-2010-FEC
disk 362mm LJ9C-1125-ENB

apreciate any info

the spacers aren't provided by Ford, because the TP knuckle has a different machining for the caliper mount to centre the caliper and therefore doesn't need it. Read back through the thread and there are some references to someone who machined some spacers. I would assume you could do a deal and order some from them.

I didn't know that the TP knuckle was not the same. Any other part that is different? I thought the installation would be plug and play but it seems a little more complicated

I don't know what else is different. I remember doing a CAD overlay of the 2 knuckles when I had access to that stuff, and the caliper offset was clear to see. I don't remember any other differences, but not 100% sure.

it looks the same kit,the o/e discs are 330mm 2 pots and the trackpacks use 363 4 pot brembos, there doesnt seem to be any spacers with their kits though which are deffo needed, they never did bother responding to me when i asked,id price it all up from fords first to see how much it costs
