At a recent track day after first session I was trying to check the wheel nuts were still tight, back was ok.
Front wheels I couldnt get the wrench on; the 'cover' on the nut had expanded and was actually able to turn it a bit (they are ford oem that came with the car) as though it had seperated from the nut.

if anyone has had these issues what did yo u replace them with.
Part of me thinks thinks it was the track day heat that caused them to expand, I got my ebc yellow stuff pads smoking hot, (the wheels themselves were very hot as well)
