Now that my ST is nicely run in,

ive been giving it full right foot and trying to find out when the best time to change gear is, ive found that at exactly 2500rpm you get that lovely induction noise and seems to pull quite stongly at this point, as the revs rise upto 4500rpm then the engine really takes off, but only seems to last uptill about 5500rpm, the redline is at 6500rpm but i dont think its worth hanging on till then as the power seems to tail off and when you go for the next gear then your in the wrong rev range for the most power!.

Has anybody else had any thoughts on this and for the best 0-60/100 times??

I find the same, more noticable since its run in too, I wait for pickup then change just after before it drops off.

Try the ol launch thing for good 0-60.

Handbrake on
clutch down
foot to floor on rev pedal
(car limits to 3,500 rpm)
drop clutch

OFF YOU GO!!!

Make sure you take the handbrake off as well!!!

TURN ESP OFF !!

You loose soo much power with ESP on

Im not even gonna try it!! I know my car is quick, being able to go .02 seconds quicker than something else doesnt interest me.

Having a clutch in one piece does!! lol
