Rev's limiting at 4000 RPM

Hey Guys, Been having a bit of an issue that someone might be able to shed some light on?

Everything was fine for a couple of days after buying my ST-3, been breaking the car in a little, testing its limits, only been using 97 oct. All was really good, pulling off well no problems with revs. Then Yesterday i noticed some stuttering at certain revs.

I investigated some more and it seems to be at 4000Rpm that the power just drops, its almost like the rev limiter has kicked in. Its 4000rpm at each gear change as well, so i can still get up to a nice cruising speed as long as i keep the gear changes below 4000rpm.

Had a read on here and some people seem to have had similar issues and replaced the solenoid? Anything else i should check or replace?

Anyway, hi to everyone and hope to see some of you at Ford Fair and meets.

Yeah sorry ST 250 its been remapped by dream science by the looks of it as well.

I have not changed the solenoid yet so I'm assuming I should give that a go.

One thing I have noticed is then when its cold or just been started revs can go above 4000 once warmed it starts to limit it.
