Hey, I’ve got a problem with the sensor itself I believe, so I’ve ordered a new sensor and will be fitting it soon but what I want to know is does it need programmed to the car? I’ve got an engine light on and need it cleared ASAP as I’m due an mot. I’ve been told by a ford mechanic that it doesn’t need programmed, I’m just wanting to make sure so I can order a decent obd scanner to relearn if necessary. any help is greatly appreciated. Managed to fit the sensor but turns out it was the wire instead, only problem is I’ve still got the code p2463 which is clogged DPF, the engine light went out eventually once I gave it a hard drive but it came on again yesterday, I can clear the code and it stays off for a couple days but comes back, I’ve used RedX DPF cleaner to hopefully help the problem. Anyone get any suggestions??

Search on here for Vaporizer. They tend to block on these. It squirts diesel into the Dpf and heats the Dpf up during the regen process.
I’ve heard about the vaporizer, last I remember it’s a nightmare of a job. I’ll have a look for vaporiser threads, do you know if I can clean it myself at home? Don’t want to spend mad money paying someone to do it. Thanks
