my car has been in the garage the past week gettin a lsd, eibach springs, decat, downpipe, cat back, hybrid turbo, induction kit, intercooler.prior to this i had installed the dreamscience remap. The car was going in for a custom remap but the remap could not be finshed due to time restrictions. The new box was on partly mapped and was running okay. I was told to leave this on but to take it easy or restock and go for turbo A or B on my DS. By the time i drove home the car was a bit jittery about 70-80. When i woke up in the morn to change the map the car is displaying 'esp system fault' 'speed limited mode' 'acceleration reduced' and the car will not start. it is tickin over ready to go but jus wont click. I have checked all the hosos to male sure there all tight and they seem to be fine. Dont know wat the hell has happenend, not even had a chance to have a bit of fun with my new toy!! hope someone can help

Ok just a thought, what induction kit have you had?? If it one that sits in the original airbox place ie GGR, Code Red, AutoSpecialists, then the starter motor needs to be insulated from the new metal tray that the CAIS sits on. If this hasnt been done then you possibly have a fried strater motor???

it was done by aet turbo who have been brilliant and was runnnig good before i left last night, i have stratagem which i was using then when it was in aet to get the work done. they fitted the parts then put their custom map on for the hybrid(DSF3000). When fitted all the parts they plugged the DSF3000 to stick it on the dyno. When i got there we took it out and was advised not go above 4000rpm as he had only plugged the map in and the top end wouldnt be done untill the custom map was complete. They showed me what happened when we went over the 4000rpm so if it happened i knew what to do. It started to jitter n cough n splutter(which he said was a safety feature that would stop me from pushing it to much) n when this happened i was to pull over and restart which would reset it. When i was close to home this feature kicked in so i pulled over and restarted and only just, as this happened all the warning lights came on and stayed on. I managed to get home and thought i would be able to sort it in the morn but when i got up it wouldnt start. I checked all the hoses to make sure one had not blown off or came lose. Disarmed the alarm to make sure it was not that. And checked both boxes for DTC's but none were shown.. hope this makes sence

yeh he used to work at pumaspeed. He fitted all the parts over last week but i stay in glasgow and this happened last night about 1am on the way home and this morn. I spoke to him this morn and couple of times through the day he has suggested a couple of things that i tried, but he is away white water rafting so didnt want to keep pestering him. The last thing he advised was to disconnect the battery over night to reset everything and hope for the best. Failing this a guy named norry from AWD is coming over tomorrow afternoon and james is going to run through all idea's with him. I am just wondering if anyone else had came across this or had any suggestions.

im no expert...but as said beofre on this thread, its sounds like limp mode, or something

i wouldnt worry about pestering james, as after all....aet did the work...so they need to sort the fault...it is kinda their problem

but if someone is coming round tomorrow, then see what that brings

the problem with asking on forums, is that sometimes you will get 10 different opinions, which confuses you further

let the guy tomorrow have a look...i bet he can give a more acurate idea than us lot online, who dont have access to your car
