As an update to this thread I had the software update done on 1/5/24 and had no problems since then.

Hello everyone,
I’m investigating a possible Adaptive LED Headlamps software bug on the Focus Mk4.5.
On my LHD Focus, the left headlamp (on-coming traffic side) occasionally fails to perform adaptive masking.
When triggered (often during rapid acceleration or when passing reflective dual speed-limit signs), the lamp gradually fades out instead of masking and stays off until the car slows below ≈50 km/h, when the system re-initializes and starts working again.

There are no DTCs stored, and the right headlamp always behaves normally.
Interestingly, I’ve seen reports from RHD owners describing the same behaviour but on the right-hand lamp, suggesting it may affect the on-coming-traffic side logic in both configurations.

Has anyone else encountered this symptom or heard of a related firmware update (HCM / IPMA / BCM) from Ford?
Any feedback or confirmation would really help.
