Just for the hell of it, here's a more scientific slant to the question.

The RGB values of two popular colours are below

Lemon Yellow - R:255 G:244 B79

Tangerine - R242 G:133 B0

Now for the RGB value for Tangerine Scream taken from the top of the passenger door just above the door handle of the picture above.

Tangerine Scream - R255 G238 B77

Which one is it closer to? I'll let you decide.

Look TS owners,I've also a 2018 ST-3 in TS colour too.

It's yellow on the official log book,but,as someone's already noted,it seems a brighter yellow by day and as Sun goes down it goes this,how shall i describe it...a burnt orange-ish look.
Yes tangerines are orange 🍊 in colour,but dont let ppl irritate ya by getting the colour wrong in your mind.
(don't sweat the small stuff)

I class it as an orange/yellow combination myself.
Either way it's a great bright colour that lots of ppl comment me on too!

I love it and I'm slowly adding my own touch to it.

Looks more like Satsuma or Clementine than Tangerine.

If it's any help, in Germany (where the colour was chosen/designed/mixed/whatever) it's called Sunset Yellow Metallic (Sunset Gelb Metallic)
