There have only been two different changes to the pre facelift, Green display with the square radio and red with the roundish radio.

But the newer dial's off the facelift can be retro fitted which is what you may have seen.

has anyone changed the colour of there face lift dials and is this a repalcement set or bulb change?

Thought about the dials a bit recently - possibly silly questions, but here goes anyway:

1) Is all the info that gets displayed held in the ECU or on the dash - ie if I put a different one in would I still have my own milage, mpg, etc...

2) If the facelift one is compatible, would it display all the info in the bigger screen or not?

3) Could you put the dials from the pre facelift in front of the circuitry from the facelift?

 

Do a search for Smd replacement, the diodes are changed to a different colour, in your instrument panels, radio, switches and sub lighting.
I have mine change to blue.
