If you take off the drivers side wheel, you will see the adjuster. Its like a small plastic arm which sits just behind the hub, Could be something to do with this.

Same thing happened to me when i had the new suspension put on. They said the arm had got caught on the gear box. I recently had a new engine and the lights havn't seemed quite right since then so i think it's happened again.
