Will RS spark plugs give me more power?

I have noticed people with RS spark plugs seem to get better power on rolling roads. Is this the case and is it worth me changing to them even if I've only done 6k with ST plugs?

i cant see fords haveing two differant part numbers and two differant prices for the same item .
my brother in law contracts to fords as senior sytems analyst and does all fords /jaguars accounting sytems ie paying for there parts etc etc from various suppliers and is going to look in to this as he has stated they WILL NOT have two differant part numbers etc etc for the same item !!
will keep you posted on this as its ongoing .
hes normally pretty accurate with all this as he deals with it all day long so fingers crossed he will shed some light on this matter for us all.

My initial thoughts too from my knowledge of Ford part numbering procedures and discipline. I did even bring up the fact that the plugs share the same maunufacturing part number, the pricing difference at the dealer is because the plugs they sell for the ST in service have a different part number than the original factory fit ST/RS plugs.

However there is some info from Wolfman that there are some codes on the body of the plug which differ between the ones taken out of ST's and those from RS's. Having looked at the RS plugs i've still got in a box here I think he meant where there are 3 very small numbers stamped on the metal plug body. If this is the case, how Volvo would ever manage this in their engine plant and error-proof the different stock would be interesting to know!

I believe all the small codes refer to heat ratings, Ford often send out old stock hence why there are different numbers on many sets of plugs. However if you get a "new" set of each they are supposed to be the same now from what I have heard, I believe they used to be different but now Ford have decided to use the same temp rating in the ST plugs.

Cheers
