I am back again and am beginning to wonder if I have bought a lemon.

I have a whiring noise now. On startup you cannot hear it but from the middle to the end of a 45 minute drive you can hear the noise getting louder, it's nothing crazy but with no music on it is just noticeable. When I press the clutch the noise stops and when I let go the sound starts again, it seems to get faster with pressing the accelerator.
I had an RS clutch fitted less than 3000 miles ago and it has only just developed in the last few hundred miles.
I have heard slave cylinder and power steering pump thrown around but wanted to ask you guys, any help would be appreciated.

I had this and was told its the slave cylinder, (this site and a ford mechanic) I just gave it a few good hard presses on the peddle and it went unless i was on a long drive.

If the noise goes away when you press the clutch then it is usually a clutch problem - likely input bearing or similar. I would get it back to the place that did the clutch quickly & get it checked & possibly fixed if required otherwise it could be expensive to fix should it all fail on you!

If it was a clutch bearing issue it would be more noticeable when the clutch is pressed. The fact is goes away when the clutch is pressed, eg low torque input to the gearbox, indicates it might be an internal gearbox bearing. If so, that's some rotten luck you're having.
