I have been looking at getting an induction kit for quite a while now, just not too sure which one!

My first choise is the Dreamscience one as it sounds so damn good!
Although i have also considered the AS gen2 and the K&N.

I just want peoples oppinons on which one i should go for.......

Has been asked before, if you search the forum you'll find lots of info.

Main things to consider are - price you want to pay, looks, performance gains and induction noise (not in any order) Open type CAIS like the DS and K&N Gen 2 give more induction noise than the closed canisters like Wolf, GGR and AS. The closed type kits also sit in place of the standard airbox so oil filter access is more difficult at service time than with the K&N or DS. The K&N sounds more muted than the DS so if it's noise alone you're after then the DS could be the one to go for, looks very neat under the bonnet and available in several colours but costs more than say the K&N or AS version.

They're all good, most people will say that the one they've got is the best. It's mainly down to personal choice on budget and aesthetics.

+1. Best is to get out and meet some members in your area that have the kit you want and listen to theirs, or look on your tube.
~But yes the DS induction is quality.

O yea, not heard much about that one.

I guess I not only want the power gains but also to make a bit more noise, just not sure im going to hear any difference over standard with a closed filter set-up?

I have the Dsci CAIS and it's the dog danglies m8y... but as others have said, it depends on what you are after and the price you want to pay

My advice would be to ask some members near you to let you have a listen to what they have... will help you make a more informed decision

I have the Ds one , but that is because i have all Ds on the car

i have DS

its the nuts!!!

but if you get one, make sure its correctly aligned

mine isnt

and it vibrates on the strut brace with the movement of the engine

if correctly fitted its no troubles at all
