Just wondering what your opinions on this link are?

Personally I think its disgusting and believe that the government should step in to make it illegal for them to disrespect the dead service men and women of Great Britain. If they dislike the country they reside in they should be kicked out. This is not only my opinion of Muslims before anyone goes there, it is my belief for anyone that dislikes being British and disagrees with its principles. There are many other countries that think along these lines and I'd be more than happy to transport people to them if thats what they'd prefer..... obviously in these countries they wouldnt dream of stepping out of line and disagreeing with the authorities because they wouldnt be prosecuted they'd be dead.

Speaks wonders in my opinion, come to a country with free speech and complain against it, stay in a country that doesnt have free speech and keep quiet at risk of being killed!! I'm sure they cant have it both ways!!

Sorry for the little rant but these people really do disgust me.

I would expect the good people of Wootton Bassett to at least egg any of those involved in that march. Might even go there myself to boo the marchers.

Unfortunately though, in this country under socialist rule, the wants and rights of the British people are put hopelessly last. A terrorist can willfully "preach" its beliefs on the street to brainwash people and not get in trouble, but should you call that terrorist a terrorist? Well let's not even go there.

On the basis that we are in Afghanistan and Iraq to allow their peoples to have the right to do exactly this

As a free and democratic country we MUST accept the right of all citizens to do this.

Voltaire is credited with saying something along the lines of I may not agree with what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it!

I may also point out that being Muslim and holding these views does not preclude someones right to be British. I for one believe that Iraq was an illegal war against a sovereign nation, and believe me there are many in Afghanistan that do not want our troops there, funny really when it was the Russians there trying to stabilize the region we trained the Mujaheddin here.

The real victims of these wars has not been our troops, they are paid to fight and in some circumstances die for whatever cause we sees fit, I support them fully though, the real victims are the civilians of both of those countries.

WTF have the good people of Wootton Basset got to do with Government policy with regard to Afghanistan? They simply show their respects to those that have lost their lives whilst doing a job they are told to do by their superiors.

If people object to the policies of the Government, then march on Westminster or Downing Street.

We are at present awaiting news to imigrate to australia but i have to prove i can support my family should i not be able to gain work out there "which i already have " why then is this NOT the same for people entering the UK ???
that is whay we are the number one target for imigrants to come to as we give them so much and in many cases recieve nothing in return .
Just send these people BACK on the next cargo vessel and be done with it .

I think its disrespectful to the community of wootton basset and to the fallen who have given their lives in Afghanistan! Whilst we may agree or disagree with the conflict out there these guys have followed orders and given the lives. They should be shown respect. If people don't like what happens at Wootten Basset then when its shown on the tv or its on the radio turn them off and don't watch or listen.

you cant tar all the muslims with the same brush! this has been going on in my part of the UK since the 1960's. here in N Irelend we learned a long time ago, its not the followers thats the problem its the leaders. they incite hatred among the gullible, who then end up killing each other & every other innocent soul in the same vacinity! deporting the leaders wont help either, they will still get their message across in todays hi tec world. the only answer is to make them look foolish and stupid! turn up at their march & laugh at them.!!!!! wee used to hav a saying in N Ieland, KILL THEM ALL AND LET GOD SORT THEM OUT! and this is what happened for years on end! any sort of hatred just escalates to the point of seggregation of communities, and believe me thats when the killing will start! i seen it happen in my little part of the uk & from a far, i see it starting to happen on the mainland! be smart, be very smart, make them look like idiots and make them feel like idiots and eventually they will

I'm not tarring "all Muslims" with the same brush and I dont believe anyone else on here has. What I want to get across is that if you do not support the country that you live in to the point that you are going to demonstrate against the people of a town who has supported the countries fallen then you should leave that country and this should not be restricted to one Religion but to everyone.

Several people have pointed out that not everyone agrees with the situation both in Afghanistan and Iraq, but have also pointed out that it is the government that has sent the troops to these places and it should be there that the demonstration, if any, should take place. NOT in a village that has had the courtesy to show respect to the fallen.

This action in my opinion is not to demonstrate against what has and is happening within Afghanistan but to try and bully a village into not supporting and showing respect for those returning to the country in the worst circumstance possible. These people are the very worst of what is happening to Britain and someone needs to make a stand against them.

Again I believe everyone has a right to an opinion but they should be voiced at the government and should not try to take away from the people that have been put in a place to enforce the governments decisions. I would be more than happy to drop off immigrants and British alike into the country of their choice if they do not support the people trying to enforce this countries decisions "not individuals" decisions.

If people wish to live and except the benefits, both financially and the security of living in Britain then they should support the people trying to put into place the decisions that have been made, whether this is the HM Forces, the police or any of the other services across the country. If you dont support these people then you should LEAVE or be removed!!

I dont think anyones taring all muslims with the same brush stingy mate ,we are all able to see what this particular type of person is like and we also understand there are decent /hard working /good people in every culture .
we are just not happy that this type of thing goes on thats all mate .

it is to provoke! this has went on for years in my country. dont rise to it. be smart & hardly any of them will turn up! publicity and the media are their weapons.
