I've got an ST500 and was reading the owners manual and came across the global opening and closure and tried to do a reset but it doesn't work. How do I know if this is actually for my model anyway? Anyone know how to find out what you've got or haven't got?!

I bought it 2nd hand, else I'd have the order sheet!
