Hi all,
First of all i would like to present my car. A 2007 ST with only stage 1 superchips no technical mods.

I am going to buy a moongose turbo back system next mounth with 4,5" or 4" rolled out pipes, i havent decided yet. Some advice would be received with appreciation.

But the problem is in a different part. I want also an induction system but i do not know what to choose for better performance: DSCI (but in Romania were i live we have a lot of dust and filthy streets and i am worried it will need cleaning very often because of its location in the bumper) or an Auto Specialist CAIS gen 2.

Next the intercooler: I do not know anything about the Airtec gen 3 intercooler from auto specialist. Is it any good, is it big enough for stage 3 superchips or mod c dsci? Or should i wait to raise money and get a forge racing one?

Thank you for your time.

Bye guys

Hi mate,

I've got the 4" rolled out full turbo back exhaust syetem, Airtec Intercooler and DSCi induction running Mod C

I'd go for the DSCi induction just for the noise. The AS CAIS will be sucking the same dirty air in so it will get just as dirty. Just keep it clean it's very easy to do!

The Airtec intercooler is more than adequate for the job. I couldn't believe the difference when I fitted it!

Thanks for the advice. I wasnt sure of the airtec intercooler becuase it is cheaper the anything on the market. And about the dsci induction i heard it can pick up water, dirty and hot air because it is behind the fog light. But i also love the sound it makes.

Hi Darian - i've just started down that route and have just had a Mongoose cat back with 4" tail pipes fitted, quality is very good and the sound is awsome. At the same time i had a Code Red Level 3 induction kit fitted and again the quality is very good and with both together the power difference is quite substantial. (Profile Automotive at Bredbury near Stockport did the work and i can highly recomend them) As with youself my next upgrade will be an intercooler, maybee you could let us know what chioce you make and your opinion is of it.Cheers Mitch

I think i will choose the airtec intercoole because shiping is expensive to Romania and i do not see the need to pay extra for a forge one. I do not know if it would be better.

I also have a question 296 bhp means at the wheels? And how much does it pump out at the engine. Dyno tested.
