Happy New Year to you all!

I have just started getting vibration that seems to build to a peak at around 60mph and the subside beyond that again. Gear or RPM doesn't seem to make any difference.

Any ideas before I take it in somewhere? Is it likely to be wheel alignment or some such?

Thanks in advance

Wheel balance. Tyres out of round or sidewalls damaged. If it is happening at the same speed and ok before and after that speed it is definitely a balance issue. Get them balanced to zero by a reputable company and get them to check for being out of round and the sidewalls.
