there must be a reason for that? might cause excessive vibration through the cabin?

there was an issue with the astra h 1.9 diesel with a booming noise and vx introduced a rubber bush that fits onto the subframe near the rear torque resister mount and that cured the booming noise, maybe some thing simmilar would help in this case?
well i,m waiting on delivery of one so we,ll see how it goes
That delivery of one should hopefully see it there tomorrow.
I guessing by the various threads on this, that it is without doubt a benefit to a certain few, and a noise creating problem to others.

Why don't they produce another one with slightly softer rubber, which will improve on the usual benefits over the OE without so much BOOMING or VIBRATING?

Is it me or does that seem like a sensible money making idea for Vibra T????
Had mine on for a good few months now and really like it, i dont mind the vibrations its a small price to pay for the overall solid feel and slick gear change you get with it
to be honest guys i dont know what you are all moaning about, i was expecting some serious vibrations when i fitted mine but i started the car up and it was fairly subtle, it wasnt ridiculous but it was still noticeable.

some people on here are just too fussy! i think the minor vibration adds more of a racey feel to the car! definately money well spent.

if you are thinking of buying one, dont hesitate!
i dont mind a bit of vibration , its just the booming that worried me as my cars loud enough for me

The Vibratechnics mount is an awesome piece of kit for very little money. The extra vibration is next to nothing and when drving down the road you wont even notice it, its only when stationary there is a little extra vibration in the cabin. But weigh that up against a much smoother gear change and when on full chat and lifting back off, the engine doesn't move around like a squirral on speed. The car is more balanced as a result of this
And the best bit, it takes all of 20 mins to fit and you can do it yourself on the driveway with two axle stands and some sockets

I had one of these fitted when I had my
and could not recommend it highly enough

So do not delay and contact Adam (The custom Touch) NOW !!

+1

If driving around corners at the limit is your thing & you crave improved balance (from the fairly soft standard setup) &
an improved gearchange. It's a must have. One of the best mods (certainly the best value thing I've ever done).

If you don't, the mount does make the car a bit noisier and you will only ever see it's disadvantages, so don't bother.

I do think that some cars must be noiser than others, because mine is only a fraction louder. Approximately the same as
when I changed the standard cat to a sports cat, a bit louder, but nice
.
