Upper grill delete

Evening fellow Stoc members,

I've went complete rs mk2 body kit on my car (It was a gradual thing don't judge me)

I want to buy a rs upper grill but I wouldnt mind going grill less how has everyone deleted theres?

I know a few people that just buy a long screwdriver and rip it out, but doesnt seem practical. I can do aero catches but is there anything else?

I remember on my EP3 that the Condenser was very vulnerable because there was no grille so many owners added a mesh to the opening retrospectively.

There is a practical reason for having a grille so I wouldn't dispense with it.

would the engine get to hot? the slam panel cover which deflects air into intake and is angled to stop water vapour/spray getting into intake,would that get compromised ,and get enough air also?or am i missing spomething about the st slam panel cover etc,i know on a few other c ars ive had this is the case.
