Under Bonnet Heat Carpet

I've put a lot of dynamat in the car to resolve rattles, so this carpet weights more than the dynamat, so thought of pulling it off to balance it out again haha

No problems with it off. mines been off for about 6 months. This is for sound proofing but to be honest it dosn't make the slightest difference from inside the car.

Off it comes then, I presume theres some clips to undo. Is it heavy then? I know the one on my VXR was surprisingly heavy!

Being a Ford its just about clipped on and no its not heavy.

As like Phil mine has been off for around 6 months and no issues, and even the new RS does not come with one

Easy to remove there are some oblony or square shaped clips just twist them and it will fall off

I have added a pic of the RS bonnet and the 2 arrows point to where the original clips would attach, oh and they are oblong
