Looking at some Rota Grids that were fitted to a mk2 to go on my mk3.5, but the tyre size is 225/35/18, my existing tyres are 235/40/18. would it make much difference. Thanks.

Can't remember exactly but I believe the offset might be different on the Mk3, so they may stick out a little. The 235/40 tyres will give you a different rolling radius to 225/35 tyres so this will affect your speedo, although it may not be that noticeable.

If you mix tyre sizes between the two it will probably throw up a light and maybe affect the ESP due to the wheels rotating at different speeds. Keeping them all the same will likely affect the speedo but nothing else unless the offset is too different.

They will be ALL the same on each corner, either the 225's or the 235's. ;)

With the different tyres your speedo will be reading about 5% lower.
