Turbo Issues?!

Hi all,

Was after a bit of advice..

Only had my 07 ST-2 for just over a week now. Absolutely loving it but just wanted to know if I have any issues with the turbo.

The boost gauge only ever seems to make it to the first bar. I've given it some beans through all the gears and I can definitely hear the turbo kicking in and the car seems fairly quick so maybe it's just a problem with the gauge? Or maybe that's as far as it goes?!

Apologies if this has been posted before, I'm a bit new to all of this!!

As far as I know, the car is completely standard..

Also, if there is a problem is it something Ford will fix under warranty?

Why don't you have a look at some of the topics in the technical section.

Go to the technical section, problems and possible solutions. Then type 'turbo' in the search engine at the bottom left of the page.

in short, that's normal for a standard car, won't boost past 1/3 got to get modding if you want to crank it up a touch.

standard car should briefly boost to 3/4 and then settle to the half mark.

try a KAM reset , pull fuse 26 for about 30mins , reinsert and see if that helps.
