QUOTE(Dark Knight @ 24 Nov 2009, 08:18 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Hey all
right can anyone help me here, as discussed in privious posts my drivers seat is broken and ford aint gonna fix it
see for details http://www.focusstoc.com/forums/Drivers-Se...ued-t56960.html
as a result it is increasingly difficult to drive as the seat keeps falling down, so i would like to swap them over passenger to drivers, but with the controls on the seat etc i just want to do the seat base.
is this possible, does anyone have any of the ford plans for this or can get hold of them, or should i just swap the whole seat over
cheersHello DK, When was your car 1st reg and what is mileage. Did you purchase new. Is this the origial Ford Manufacturers Warranty or, if you bought it secondhand, is it a MBI (Mechanical Breakdown Insurance) supplied by M53. - If so who is the administrator (who do M53 or you phone to make a claim) - I work for an independant warranty company and although we exclude bodywork and trim we would accept a "seat frame" because it has "mechanical parts" in it and is an MOT fail if parts are broken. When you give me the info I hopefully should be able to advise you (may need to go into pm mode as I don't want to start quoting our or other companies names)
