Well I need some new Sunglasses since my last pair were nicked

I like Oakley, my last pair were Whiskers with Polorised Irridium lenses

http://www.shadestation.co.uk/Oakley-Sunglasses-Whisker-12-849.html

I could go for another pair but also fancied some of these (going back to the old days of frogskins) I also like the Carbon arms and CNC'd frame, a bit trick don't you think???

http://www.shadestation.co.uk/Oakley-Sunglasses-Jupiter-Factory-Lite-OO4066-01.html

I also have spotted a couple of pairs of raybans, I have never had any of these before, what are they like, especially the quality of the lenses in comparison to the Oakley's

These are the Raybans in order of preference

I have also found some Prada that will go well with my flip paint

http://www.shadestation.co.uk/Prada-Sport-Sunglasses-PS50OS-1AP6Y1.html

But are they a bit.... ghay???? even if I went for a normal colour and polorised lenses are Prada more of a fashion set of glasses?

Can you let me have your thoughts and has anyone got any experience of the seller, Shadestation?

Cheers

Den

I bought a pair of oakleys on holiday last year. They've got polarised lenses, I couldn't believe how much clearer they are. I don't think I'd have anything else now.

The lucky lucky men were still trying to sell me their ray berry glasses all week tho.

Seriously? 250 sheets on a pair of sunnies.........Jeez. I'm lucky if mine last more than a summer without me either loosing them or sitting on them! I'd be rancid if I lost a pair of £250 sun glasses.

Had a play at Meadowhall and decided on the Oakleys Lite but only place that does them there is Sunglasses Hut however the black ones they had did not have polarised lenses and they can not order in a specific pair for me, imagine-, please can I spend £240 with you, no we can't be bothered to out in any effort to earn your money, so you can either buy your 2nd or 3rd choice for which we are also charging you about £30 more for compared to online prices, or you can walk away. No brainer, walked away and online order being placed, they will be with me on Tuesday.

I'm in the 'buy decent ones' camp.

I've a pair of Tag Heuer ones that are my favourite. Not cheap though.

I also like Arnette ones, in fact the pair currently in my RS are Arnette ones

I did not know Tag did sunglasses, how much are they (ball park) and do they have polorised lenses, they would go well with my Monaco Chronograph.

Also I am in Central London on Wednesday so could be worth a trip.....

I've got these. They're very light and barely notice them when your wearing them. Very comfortable. I bought them after loosing my Ray Ban Olypians on holiday- left them on a table went back all of five minutes later and they were gone.

Have a look at the Olypians, wish I'd bought them again tbh. Bought the above as I fancied a change.

I've had 2 pairs of Oakleys including a pai of the original M Frame Mumbo's. The other pair were silver framed and egg shaped, can't remember what they were called. The only problem with them is that unless your wearing when your cycling you look a

I like these

http://www.tagheuer.com/html.php/int-en/eyewear/sunglasses/speedway-grey-precision-dark-elastomer-frame-sunglasses-0204-991

Similar price to the Oakleys

I paid the best part of £ 200 for my reflex ones. And yes I believe they do polarised lenses. Plenty of retail outlets in central London will sell them.
I am not overly familiar with central London for shopping (I see the sites/museums, our lass does the shopping).

What sort of areas (include the namdes of the tube stations), as I think the Tag shop will charge a premium?

The big department stores will sell them such as Harrods (Knightsbridge tube) and Selfridges (Bond St tube). . The Tag Shop proberly will be expensive, but to be fair anywhere in central London will be I reckon. The Tag shop is in the Westfield shopping centre (Hammersmith one).

Have a look on the store info

I've had a pair of Oakleys for years and just last year swapped to Ray ban Aviators with a silver frame and black lens.
I must admit I really like the Raybans, the lenses are really good, I like the gradual tint on them which is actually really useful.
Hd the same pair of Oakleys 6 years prior to the Raybans.
