Noticed it a couple of times now but thought would ask if anyone else gets this....

When I start to reverse I get a dragging sort of noise occasionally - slight clunk then nothing. No vibration or slow down in speed, no problems in forward 6 gears. First thought was driveshaft but not sure...

Anyone else had problems or similar noises?

Any luck with your noise when reversing?

I have seen a similar problem, not on the Focus though, it was on my sisters punto and it turned out to be the driveshaft. It had a problem with the teeth on the driveshaft. It was as though they were damaged on one rotation because it was fine in all 5 gears going forward. Hope you have got to the bottom of it, if not then hope this helps.

I having the same problem after getting my new clucth fitted. I am going to try and get it sorted tomorrow i will report back if make any progress.

Look forward to hearing how you get on - I do suspect driveshaft but just curious how many others have this and if anyone got a fix for it
