Whats the chance that a forum can be started about stolen st's...
We would be the perfect people to keep eyes out on stolen st's as there are members all over the country.
What do u guys and gals think.

I think it would be a good idea, piston heads runs a stolen car thread (with a table of the car's details) dunno if any cars have ever been recovered but anything that makes the thieves lives more difficult by making the cars harder to shift has got to be a bonus.

maybe if the penalty for car theft was worthy of the crime, instead of a smacked bottom and some stern words then we wouldn't need to even have this conversation!

Saw a thing on the tele last night about Shanghai and they mentioned that the punishment there for such a misdemeanor is the death penalty...

Thats why crime in places like China is so low! Real harsh punishments work wonders! but these countries dont exactly conform to Human Rights etc!

How about an alert system, If your car was stolen you could have a 'scrolling message' at the top of the page.

Not sure if it would be worth it, maybe someone would see a stolen car but I doubt the car thieves are going to drive it around for long. Im sure the police are all alerted soon after and look out for it.
