Its a corner light. Great addition and does really work compared to normal fog lights used as corner lights.

 

I think the cornering lights are a waste of time imo the yellow colour looks awful compared to the xenon.

On my pfl I removed the bulbs.

The cornering lights on the FL only work if the lights are on auto......

 

That's what I thought. Now to work out the best h1 bulb to try to match the xenon's. Thinking maybe Osram cool blue intense 4300k or hyper 5000k. Although some swear by phillips diamond vision. Hard choice!

 

I would go with the Osram 4300k that would be the same as the xenons which will give you more visible light.

 

You haven't been in dark enough places . And they do work in dark pedestrian crossings and at times at parking.

 

Osram & Philips do a 5000k colour temp bulb which is a much better match for the LED / Xenon.

 

I've just switched to the OSRAM Cool Hyper Plus. Much better match to Xenons but not by the letter of the law road legal. Given they are not used under normal conditions I'm happy with this but clearly personal preference.

Changing them is pretty straight forward. 2 screws to take headlight off, unclip wire, change bulb (slightly fiddly if you have big hands as the recess is small) and refit.
