Hows it going! New to the site
seems like a good one ! found it when i was looking for things to check as my front left wheel / brake disks seem to be sqeeling intermitantly, know idea why. thought the pads might have been getting low so went got some new ones, the old ones looked ok but chaned them anyways along with greasing all moving parts up ( i thought the pad may have been stuck) but to no sucess! any ideas ?

Cheers

Joe

Sorry I' not very mechanically minded so I don't know exactly what the problem is, but you could have my missus stuck under your front wheel.. she's always making this whining noise that just never seems to go away

I think the principle is the same... with the car it's probably something metal rubbing the disc up the wrong way. With her it's me or the kids doing the same....

Was thinking it might be a bearing but funny how it starts and stops, also gave the hub a good shake about and there was no movement.

Prob is the backing plate.
