Whats "Vector Version" mate?

 

Ive been wondering this

 

Thought I'd heard of vector graphics before but, as above, not quite sure exactly what it is. So here you go.

Just read through all that and still dont understand it, im lost.

 

Vector graphics, vector version, same difference lol.

There's loads of file type's out there of the ST logo such as JPG, Tiff, etc but I want the vector version

Yeah that's the JPG. But I can't use that to cut vinyl

 

Ford will supply you with it

 

Did anyone ever source one of these? Or am I gonna have to make one in illustrator? I want one for vinyl cutting too..

 

'Brands of the World' have the RS version, but I can't find the ST one either. It may be possible to vectorise it from the jpg? a bit tricky I know due to the inner red part...

Cheers, Dave. For what I want it for its going to be quite small, I'm just eating my lunch at work but I will knock something up now. I'll host the file on dropbox or something in case anyone else wants it, it wont be perfect but it will be close hopefully.

 

OK this is what I have made to use myself, might as well share it as they are so hard to come by! I will try and tidy them up at some point but see attached jpg for whats on the files

Edit: The JPG preview looks pretty

quality but I didn't feel the need to upload a 3mb 300dpi JPG for preview, all of the pics are vector and therefore excellent quality (not fuzzy)
