Spraying St Wing Badges

Well, after getting my gunmetal grey wheels on Thursday and ordering up my stripes and other little goodies from DMB I thought that I better do something about the wing badges. I went up to the local Auto shop and bought some primer, grey metallic paint and laquer so I could have a go at doing the badges.

I am in the middle of doing them at the moment and Im starting to think that ive went too dark but I suppose once ive got the stickers on and they are back on the car they will look OK.

I have a question about doing the side repeaters but I will ask that in another thread.

No, not yet. I will post a couple up once I put them back on the car. It was a far easier job than I thought it would be. I gave them two coats of primer, two coats of paint and two coats of laquer. I found the oven very useful today, made the job cosiderably less time consuming.

Bit off topic but saw the wheels on your car tonight
. Looks good(although it was in the dark), the gunmetal goes really good with the red
. Quite fancy that colour on mine, but they aren't due a refurb yet

I spied you earlier today going past when I was getting them fitted.

Cheers, mind you the dark does wonders! Ive not even seen them in the daylight. Fingers crossed that the center caps, stripes and lower lip vinyl will be here tomorrow.

Yeah, I think that colour would go rather well on your car with your stripes.
