Closing up the gap helps give a stronger spark, and I'm told can help in cases where you're getting a misfire under full boost due to the spark being blown out.
Running my RS plugs at 25 thou which is about 0.6mm in today's money.
I would, although I didn't have the RS one's fitted I had new plugs fitted last week and when my car was started it was misfiring and turned out to be one of the plugs wasn't spaced right.
