Bit of a rant here but - why when someone is selling in the for sale section can a potential buyer reply in the post?
i've sent a pm to several people selling parts and 7/10 do not even bother to reply, i then see the ad revised a day or 2 later to say SOLD!

If we could reply in the ad at least the buyer knows who replied 1st and what the situation is, and why can't sellers reply to PMs????????

They have changed the way the for sale works, you can not reply to any for sale add, the boss saying its working but all i see is more and more post about this very topic

Hi, a further point regarding the selling forums, at this moment in time on the parts for sale section, 6 out of the first 10 items listed for sale have been sold. Obviously the sellers are right to update their post as "SOLD", but in doing so it moves to the top and those that are still for sale get moved further and further down the list. Surely sold items should be removed on a regular basis by the moderators.

There are a few sellers who sell their items and don't update the for sale so when you PM them and they don't reply it's annoying, when you see a post from someone else who mentions they bought an item from a member which is still in the for sale section that's even more annoying

at least if replies were allowed in the for sale post then buyers would know if any other interest was there

it doesnt move the post up if you amend it , i have items for sale that have been pushed back to the 3rd page

someone needs to remove posts that say sold , or maybe have some way of removing posts after a period of time has passed ie 30 days , that way the sale section will flow better and people with items to sell might actually sell them im no computer expert but cant sold be used as a trigger word to auto delete ??
Its been changed and it WILL NOT be changed back!!!!!
