Is there a "how to" guide to fit one anywhere or is it common sense to st one off and re fit RS one?? Do I need anythink else to fit it ???

Best thing to do is to drain the oil and coolant at the same time. Saves clamping things off.

Then, just remove the two jubilee clips to release the hoses.
And undo four (I think) torx screws that hold the cooler on.
Take care to remove the o-rings, fix them to RS cooler, and refit. Simples.

What year is your ST?

It is pretty easy. Make sure you clamp the two pipes that go into it otherwise you'll loose some coolant.

The reason for my question is the older pre facelifts have different design pipes on which you have to replace with the RS ones.

Yours will be fine though.

I found the bottom right torx bolt a bit of a pain to get too. I changed mine whilst changing the oil. Make sure you give the cooler a clean inside though, makes sure there's no grit inside.
