After chatting with Dreamscience,

I'm going to get shot of the Vibro-technics mount and get a softer one, to save wear on the other parts (had some issues with driveshafts etc..)

After a Focus RS Gearbox mount.

Where can I get a CHEAP one ? tips please!

Thanks - Ben

Thanks that's handy so a facelift ST mount will do the job too.

Question - is the facelift mount compatible with the pre-facelift one ?

I upgraded my pre facelift to the slightly stiffer facelift version a few years ago now.

There's not much in it but it made gear selection a lot smoother

I got the Elevate mount and its awesome, holds the engine much better with no extra vibrations, nothing like the powerflex one I had on my old lcr

I've just bought the powerflex insert for the original mount to stiffen it up a little as I was concerned that some were saying there was a lot of vibration when uprating the whole mount
