Hey all,

Planning a road trip hopefully over easter hols with the kids. Rough plan is to drive to Brugges then down to Nurnberg and then onto Davos over the alps. From there onto to Verona and back through Milan, Geneva and finally a stop off in Paris.

Going to obviously stop off at the track for a day and also spend a day playing around Davos on the alps roads but want to know if anyone has been to any of the above places and can recommend anyhting for the kids. I've found a couple of places for them, a theme park in Germany and Italy but anything else?

Loads to do in German Bavaria mate, which has some fantastic roads too.

Around Obersdorf, there is a tabogan run that comes off the mountain side, you have the castle which is in chitty chitty bang bang and a few good swimming pools for the kids.

oh and if you are putting the directions into your satnav, please put nurburg not nurnberg if you are after the track, plenty of people have gone to Nurnberg by mistake and its a long way to travel for disappointment.

Hope this helps and if one of the theme parks you've mentioned isnt Europa Park i'd make a detour to take it in in the Black Forest, its very similar to Euro Disney and great for the kids and those kids that havent admitted to growing up yet...lol

Just outside Milan is Bergamo, we stopped off here http://www.cascinabrasile.it/en/home/home_1.htm on our way down to Rimini and back on a road trip. The husband and wife who run it are petrol heads and the mums home cooking is proper Italian food, you will never have tried anything like this in any Italian restaurant in the UK.

Seriously, you will not be disappointed. 11/10

I think the theme park was Movieland or something like that. I saw that theme park you mentioned on the internet.

Think I've got some serious planning to do, lol
