Reverse Light Switch

Just picked my car up from the dealers after having the clutch slave cylinder replaced and when I got home I noticed the reversing light and parking sensors are not working, so I think they have forgot to connect up the switch.
the dealer is a 70 mile round trip so if I can do it myself it would be much better.

anybody know where it is and how to get to it?

Thanks

I've got a diagram which I think is the reverse switch, it doesn't exactly say but they're the only connctions shown for gearbox removal. Also hard to say where exactly it is on the gearbox, I'm guessing this is on top, possibly near or below where the shifter cables are attached? The forks on the right look like the retainers for the shifter cables so I reckon i'm guiding you to the right area.

thanks Troy at least that diagram gives me a idea of what I am looking for
Gary has told me it is in the top right hand side of the box and the connector plugs in from the rear so will have a go tomorrow
how did you get on with this, as i just had a new clutch, and my reverse light now doesnt work?
all sorted
it was the connector into the gearbox it was not pushed in correctly
I had to get mine replaced last summer,, it lives under the battery tray on top of the gearbox,, local ford garage had to get the switch from volvo..
do i need to take the battery tray out, or is it visable without?

my rear wiper doesnt turn on when i shift to reverse either...is it the same switch?
my local ford garage did it but I'm fairly confident the battery tray has to come out, the switch does all sorts of things,, reversing light, rear wipe when you engage reverse, parking sensors if fitted. I'm sure other things to..
Anyone know how much dealer charges for replacing this switch? Mines had it too... Can't be :censored: doing it myself...!
