Rear Numberplate Bulb Coluor?
Does the number plate light need to be white by law or can i fit a red one?

If you want to change the standard yellowy bulbs you could try these :

Have started changing quite a few bulbs to LED's on my RS and these look great on the numberplate.

Just thought, these 501 type LED's are fitted to the facelift ST and you'll need two. I know these are ok for the 08 facelift ST 'cos I had one. Mine only took two days to come and that was last week.
I think the pre-facelift is the festoon type bulb so best do a search if you need those.
Hope it hasn't caused you any hassle.
