Mine has just started doing it too. It is a heatsheild vibrating by the sound of it. Just got to establish where.............
Rattling Engine Noise Cold Start
Hi guys, I hope you will be able to help me on this one. Have strange rattle noise that comes from the middle of the engine when I do cold start. It lasts for maybe 1 secs then its gone, once the engine warms up the noise disappears. Any idea what that can be? Hope that makes sense to you:].

Do you suggest me to take it to the dealer to let them sort it out or I can do it myself?
If you have a look down the back of the engine you can see a heatshield that is clipped to the brake lines. This may be loose or may just need moving slightly to stop the annoying vibration on cold start.
