What about Codered?

You are right about it being asked 100's of time's and there is a lot of info on all the remaps available and what suit's one person might not be the best for another so ideally it is better to either visit the tuners who allow you to try before you buy or attend a meet and ask a member who has a remap you are interested in to give you a demo

Plus the DS boys also do a handset which is excellent plus has 7 maps on it and allows u to change map as and when u want to. U can use the handset for datalogging as well as checking and clearing error codes. Another neat functon is all the different gauges it can show. Excelent bit of kit..... Wouldn't be without mine

Maybe consider a second hand DS unit off here then you will get 5 maps and be able to pick and choose between a rapid boosty map that will drink fuel (race+) and a nice smooth long journey map for that bit of extra pull and the motorway (performance+) cheapest of the lot and you wont need a laptop
