Probably A Stupid Question

Iv started getting a bit of clutch slip running DSCI now, i was just wondering if the clutch is covered under warranty if it was to flash the ST back to standard? Obviously the clutch would still have to slip when running the standard map and once back to the standard the dealer can't detect it has been flashed previously can they?

Also does anyone know the standard ford warranty duration, is it 3 year / 30,000 miles?

Its a 57 plate so iv heard they were a bad bunch of clutches anyway

Just wanting to know where i can go from here as im a bit baffled

Cheers

3yr, 60,000 miles

If it's a faulty clutch it's covered.

If it's failed due to wear, it's not covered.
Looks like its gonna be an expensive christmas then as its obviously not a faulty clutch.

Is the RS clutch the way forward for me then?

If you have to have a new clutch , get the
one , it's cheaper as well

If you really want a good christmas pressie get the Quaife ATB diff at the same time! Its the best performance mod you can put on an ST!

No Rob! Its still a work in progress lol! Ive had the handicap of actually having to work for the last 3 weeks so thats delayed things, plus im in the process of buying a livery yard so things are a bit hectic! Ill get around to putting fingers to keyboard soon though!
