Joining the forum to try and suck up all the mk4 info I can as potentially interested in the facelift (auto unfortunately) and there's no mk4s to test drive or checkout in Tasmania, Australia at the moment.
Potential Aus MK4.5 ST owner

Not too sure but would be a very small market share I imagine, probably the least popular in the segment. However that might change with the face lift taking out second place in this video below, against stiff competition and being fully spec'd out at 56k drive away which is more than 10k less than a golf gti. However ford have stuffed up a bit by only allowing the top trim level in automatic.
