what polish do you guys and gals use? my ST is panther black and i use a very expensive wax on my other cars that i also use on my bike. but i have just spent an hour chasing dust around! so can anyone recommend a good polish for black cars.

The Meguiars range is pretty popular for car cleaning esp the Gold Class products.

The most popular brands on here are Meguires and Dodo juice. however a mate of mine introduced me to the poorboys range and i must say im very impressed

I've used a few but I've now switched to Collinite 476 , amazing wax.

Hi there,

Use Poorboys 'Black Hole' polish - followed by a couple of layers of Victoria Concours Wax - bit of work but you get a nice deep shine afterwards

and tennis elbow the following day!!!

I USED to use Auto Glym super resin polish, but found it to leave loads of dust

I havant found a polish yet (not really looked) but did buy some colonite 476 wax kit and that was really good. Easy to apply and remove

I used to know a guy who won a lot of concours trophys with his Black Corrado VR6... He used Turtle Wax Colour MAgic wax on his car and nothing else, and it always looked amazing.. I think the final effect has more to do with effort and preparation that which actual wax you use?

I used Megs Gold Class for a while and was then recomended to use Collinite 915. Only used it once, and it was cold, which made it a bit difficult to buff off. I washed first, then clayed, Megs gold Class then a layer of 915, the results have been amazing, better than anything else I have used, Autoglym etc.
