Well I order my RS clutch setup on Monday and due to the snow, its taken all week for them to get here. I missed my slot at the garage because of the missing parts. Just waiting on the driveshaft oil seals and flywheel bolts, which should be here tomorrow. Now all I need is for the snow to disappear and let me play.

All the RS lovelyness waiting to be fitted

The whole lot came to £580 which I didnt think was too bad.
RS Clutch Kit
RS Flywheel
RS Cylinder / bearing
Gearbox Mount Bolt x1
Driveshaft Snap Ring x 1
Driveshaft Oil Seal x 2
Hub Bolt x 1
Flywheel Bolts x 10

I would have loved the Diff as well, but my clutch was slipping with DS and I was all spent up after christmas.

I didnt get much discount off the Flywheel, think it was about 10%. Managed 20% across all the other parts. To be honest, The guy qouted my £569 over the phone, but failed to tell me that was +vat which they always seem to do. Like I really just want to know prices -vat.
Anyway, it worked out that I basically got the parts without the vat added. I'm getting the fitting done for £240 so that totals up @ £820 all done. Not too bad, although I could have done without it this time of year, and the road tax reminder has just landed through the letterbox.

This is where I saved the most, I got the Clutch kit and slave cylinder for £220 inc the vat. Looking at the receipt, they have different discount codes for different products. Its the same story at Halfrauds, I get more trade discount on certain items. Batteries are the best, got my mate a battery for his transit the other week, it retailed at £110, turned out to be £48 with discount.
I think it depends who you get on the parts desks as well and what mood they are in.
