hey folks a need to get 4 new tyres and a seen kwik-fit are doin buy 4 and get 25% off which is pretty good. A was lookin at gettin the P-Zero Rosso's just wondering if any1 has had these and what they thought of them

I would shop around regards price.

Even with 25% off you may find that other suppliers are still cheaper.

The P-Zero's came top in an Auto Express tyre test last year BTW.

I had these on my last

not for long as i sold the car, i never found anything wrong with them other than they where a bit noisy on the road.

i had a set on mine, lasted 1.5k then all 4 side walls split like no tomorrow. famous for deforming.
wouldnt put them on a wheel barrow

Had these and also had the neros not a bad tyre road noise a bit high also i,ve switched to falkens 452 tyre from camskill had the tyre on two weeks now and grips really well just as good as the nero and rosso,s and a good price at £58 a corner cant moan so far so good will see what wear rate is like

Hi, seriously... dont buy from kwik fit.. the whole 25% off is a scam.

The prices are higher to begin with.

heres an example from personal experience.

Ford Dealer charged me £160 for a 18" Sport Contact 3 Extra Load Tyre. Only use those because the car was fitted with them, and ive found them to be quite good.. was voted by which magazine as a best buy and recomended.

Apparently they also use the same tyres on some Mercs

Kwik fit charged me £166 for the same tyre... and told me "they was on special offer"
then when I looked at my reciept after.. before the discount/special offer they was selling the tyre at £185

£25 more than the ford dealer! without the special offer... and even with the special offer they was £6 more expensive.

I have since found the same tyres online for £110.. so in future im going to buy online and get my local tyre fitter to fit.

that place is quite good on prices, they sell tyres delivered online.. and are cheaper than most places because they buy in bulk and are effectively a tyre wholesaler.

tell ya the truth mate i wouldnt use kwik fit cos they are robbing

i use to work at one,not saying there all the same just the fact they have to meet a buget each day and do anything to meet it i would get a price from them first then youll see what i mean there not cheap and the rosso are a really good tyre ,
i went for good year f1 myself got them at a really good price from elete,i de get a price over the phone then see else where near you for a price ,and the rosso ant a cheap tyre ,
