Hi,

So for my first post on the FSTOC, I has hoping for some feedback on the OZ Superturismo WRC rims. I am thinking of changing my standard Ford ones to these after seeing them on the Focus WRC at the Brussels motorshow last week.
I got a quote from a Belgian company who quoted me 1,360 euros incl VAT for 4, with fitting and balancing etc. So just under 1,200 quid. [/size]I mainly want to ask for peoples experiences of OZ rims and also is this a fair price bear in mind that VAT is 21% in Belgium?
If anyone can reccomend dealers in the UK, I am willing to come back home and buy them in the South East as it's only a day trip from Brussels and always a good for a bit of a blast on the autoroute between the Belgian border and Calais!
Anyway any advice / experiences are welcome.
Cheers, E

I was getting confused there thinking you were getting a good price for the 19's

That price seems similar to that offered by Larkspeed.com (£1180) so it's probably down to the quality of tyres included in the deal. I'd check if you get wheel nuts with them, the cone faces are cut narrower than the Ford wheels and some of the Ford wheel nuts with captive washer don't really match up properly imho.

On Mcgards website they recommend the 24157 type locking nuts to go with the Oz's.

I happen to know this cos I've got a 19" jobbie sat in the spare room at the moment.

Si, any reason you plumped for the RS wheels instead of the Oz's?

Just cheaper really, £1200 for 19" OZ to about £800 I paid for the RS wheels with spacers. Although I do slightly prefer the OZ's the £400 difference is quite alot for something that looks very similar.

Yep that's a fair point. The jury's still out for me.

Thanks for all the info guys, I just got a call from the guy they've arrived today so and I'm off down there at 5 o'clock to have them fitted. After a bit of consideration I decided to go for the silver's instead, they're bit more discreet, especially when parking in downtown Brussels the locals can be a bit 'interested' in different looking cars.
I'll post some pictures when I'm next home in the light!

Cheers
