Just pull the 2 ends apart and it will open, brute force is a must.

Hey all i just managed to get hold of a new flip keuy, just wondering how do i open his to make sure the transponder is inplace, and also so i can get the spare blade cut.
Is it just a case of brute force?

I opened mine up to change the battery at the weekend - there's a small opening in the side that you can see when you flip the key out - put a small flat-bladed screwdriver in there and lever the key apart. It shows how in the handbook, around page 36 iirc (sad I can remember that)
