The time has come to replace my standard clutch, got slip in high gears.

My local garage is hopefully going to replace as I've not had the car that long. I was considering paying the difference and getting the RS clutch fitted as I have the Mountune upgrade. I have been trying to read previous posts, and see there are kits available from Pumabuild etc., has anyone had a normal Ford garage to provide the necessary bits?

Also once the RS clutch has been fitted does it make the clutch feel heavier etc., is it a bit a pain when driving in stop start heavy traffic?

My ST is a 2007 model... Cheers for any help

That sounds good. Did a local dealer fit or was it a specialist centre?

Many thanks, will see what my local dealer can do first. If no joy then will start looking around.
Actually drove home from Torquay earlier, so could have gone in on the way back!! Bit of a pain as had to watch the overtaking
was ok as long as it didn't get too hot I guess..
