Need help injector problem

Driving my car, the other day, car was driving fine then all of a sudden engine start spluttering pulled over on hard shoulder and car died, try to start it again” engine, malfunction” car won’t start, I have a handset( Dreamscience) scanned for quotes and found p0204 cylinder 4 injector A circuit, I’m assuming that injector number four failed, would the reason the car won’t start be that it is in some sort of Failsafe mode? Would it be a case of replacing that injector and then it will start? Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

I would first check your battery and alternator.

Thank you Jason the battery did go dead shortly after that’s because I left the lights on and made a few phone calls when I was on the side of the motorway, when I got home via a recovery lorry I jumped the battery and still nothing, on my handset the battery was reading 13v is that enough do you think ?

I wouldn't trust the handset reading, you need to check with a multimeter across the terminals.

Ok I checked all the injectors and they all read the same , I also checked the fuel rail and there is no fuel there , I replaced the fuse for the fuel pump and primed the fuel rail by turning the ignition on and off , no fuel going there ??
